CSR DESIGN THINKING FOR COMPETENCE FRAMEWORK OF TOURISM CSR EXPERT

The key objective is to implement an iterative process that seeks to understand the user, challenge assumptions, and define problems in a manner that identifies alternative strategies and solutions, improving the awareness in the project target groups to shape these solutions in an innovative and responsible way is the key to driving this success. This will allow them to define and design a competence framework to update the skills and competencies of the identified target groups in CSR principles.

E-LEARNING TOOLKIT TRAINING COMPETENCIES DESIGN AND PILOTING TRAINING AND VALIDATION

This result, as the first step using the results gained from project result 1, provides the design of a specific and tailored training program and modules to update the skills and competencies of experts that usually work and support touristic organizations and companies for the improvement of their business development. The final objective is to transfer the most appropriate knowledge to the identified experts to allow them to support the final users in implementing their business activities according to the CSR principles.

POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS DIRECT TO RELEVANT STAKEHOLDERS IN THE TOURISM SECTOR

The aim of this project result is to create a suitable environment for the implementation of CSR principles within the tourism business. With the implementation of the policy recommendations, tourist companies will look at governments as key stakeholders in their operational structures and become more aware of the public sector’s efforts to promote CSR. This engagement will allow increasing the impact of their CSR strategy and improve the sustainability of their activities.
