The CSR for Tourism (CSR4T) project aims to update the skills and competences of experts that will able to transit the touristic business to implement the CSR principles within their business activities, which could represent an effective, concrete and sustainable answer to their goals
RESULTS
The CSR for Tourism (CSR4T) project has 3 main results:
CSR Design thinking for Competence Framework of Tourism CSR Expert
The key objective is to implement an iterative process that seeks to understand the user, challenge as-sumptions, and define problems in a manner that identifies alternative strategies and solutions, improving the awareness in the project target groups to shape these solutions in an innovative and responsible way is the key to driving this success. Thus will allow them to define and design a competence framework to update skills and competences of the identified target groups in CSR principles.
E-learning toolkit Training Competences Design and Piloting Training and Validation
This result, as first step using the results gained from project result 1, will provide the design a specific and tailored training program and modules to update the skills and competences of experts that usually work and support the touristic organizations and companies for the improvement of their business development. The final objective is to transfer the most appropriate knowledge to the identified experts in order to allow them to support the final users to implement their business activities according to the CSR principles.
Policy Recommendations direct to relevant Stakeholders in Tourism sector
The aim of this project result is to create the suitable environment for the implementation of CSR principles within the tourism business. With the implementation of the policy recommendations, touristic companies will look at governments as key stakeholders of their operational structures and become more aware of the public sector’s efforts to promote CSR. This engagement will allow increasing the impact of their CSR strategy and improving the sustainability of their activities.
